Best Avatar 2 characters

Neytiri wins 68% of her duels and tops the Avatar: The Way of Water character ranking, ahead of Kiri and Lo'ak.

Neytiri's dominance shows in the numbers: she leads with 1386 ELO points, a 58-point margin over Kiri in second place. This gap, the widest in the ranking, confirms the fierce loyalty Neytiri inspires among voters. The Sully children fill the rest of the podium, with Lo'ak at 1308 ELO and Neteyam close behind at 1283. Tuktirey rounds out the top 5 with 1237 points. The spread between first and fifth place reveals how clearly voters distinguish between family members, though all the Sullys command respect. At the bottom, the picture shifts dramatically. Rotxo languishes at 1015 ELO with a 30% win rate, narrowly trailing Aonung at 1020. Colonel Miles Quaritch, the film's antagonist, sits at rank 11 with 1074 points and wins just 32% of his duels, suggesting voters favor the Na'vi over the Recombinants.

This ranking draws from 824 duels judged by 24 players across 13 contenders, last updated on 12 October 2026. Whether you champion the matriarch or root for the younger generation, the ballot remains open. Cast your votes and shift the standings.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
