Best disney pixar movies

39032 duels later, Toy Story 3 holds the top spot in the Disney-Pixar ranking, with Ratatouille and The Lion King close behind.

A 34 ELO point gap separates Toy Story 3 from Ratatouille at the top, the widest margin in the ranking's upper reaches. The podium places Andy's toys ahead of a French rat chef and a lion cub's coming-of-age, while the original Toy Story sits at rank 4 with 1330 ELO points. Monsters, Inc. rounds out the top 5, proving that early Pixar productions dominate voter preferences. At the bottom, recent releases struggle to gain traction: Turning Red lands at rank 44 with 980 ELO points, Luca at rank 43, and Raya and the Last Dragon at rank 42. The community's preferences tilt heavily toward the studio's first two decades, leaving newer titles fighting for recognition among voters who remember when Pixar and Disney animation represented separate creative visions.

This ranking draws from 39032 duels across 44 contenders, shaped by 218 players as of 10 October 2026. Each duel asks voters to pick between two films, building a portrait of collective taste one choice at a time. The ranking shifts with every vote cast. How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
