Best Madagascar penguins

Skipper wins 57% of its duels and tops the Madagascar ranking ahead of Rico, after 255 duels.

The 31-point gap between Skipper at 1264 ELO and Rico at 1233 ELO reflects a tight race at the top, but the most dramatic divide appears lower down: 71 ELO points separate Kowalski in third from Private in fourth, who wins only 25% of his duels. That chasm suggests the community draws a sharp line between controlled chaos and outright liability. Rico, despite sitting in second place, actually posts a higher win rate than Skipper at 60%, though his 15 duels have yet to translate into the top spot. Kowalski holds the middle ground with 1187 ELO and a 55% win rate across 11 duels, securing his position as the intellectual wildcard. Private's struggles at the bottom confirm that being the rookie of the group does not translate into unhinged credibility, with his 12 duels yielding the weakest performance by far.

This ranking drew 255 duels from 55 players across 4 contenders, updated on 12 October 2026. The tight margins and passionate disagreements over which penguin embodies true mayhem show that the Madagascar fan base takes its fictional operatives seriously. Cast your vote in head-to-head duels and help settle which member of the unit truly earns the unhinged crown.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
