Best fast food chains

Chicken Street wins 64% of its duels and tops the Restaurant/fast food chains ranking ahead of Burger King.

Chicken Street holds the top position with 1349 ELO points, built over 120 duels. A 31-point gap separates it from Burger King at rank 2, the sharpest divide at the summit. KFC secures third place with 1303 points after 147 duels, winning 60% of its matchups. The narrow gaps from second to fifth reveal a tight race among established names, with Au Bureau at 1293 points and Buffalo Grill at 1291 points. Burger King shows the strongest conversion rate in the top group at 65%, yet trails Chicken Street in overall ELO. At the bottom, Starbucks sits at rank 30 with 1065 points and a 36% win rate. Le Tajinier and La boîte à pizza occupy the last two positions with 1027 and 1024 points respectively. The spread suggests that while coffee shops and regional concepts struggle to convince voters, mainstream fast food and chicken specialists command stronger support from the community.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
