Best Pizza chains

16 ELO points separate Domino's Pizza from Pizza Hut at the top of the Pizza chains ranking, after 335 duels.

The podium reveals a tight race at the top, where Domino's Pizza edges out Pizza Hut by just 16 points despite facing fewer duels. Pizza Hut actually holds a slightly higher win rate at 64%, compared to Domino's 63%, yet trails in ELO. Del Arte secures third place with 1238 points, but the sharpest divide in the ranking sits just below: a 129-point gap separates Del Arte from Le kiosque à Pizza in fourth. That drop marks the clearest split in voter preference, distinguishing the top three chains from the rest. At the bottom, Le kiosque à Pizza and La boîte à Pizza both win only 35% of their duels, suggesting the community draws a firm line between mainstream favorites and regional offerings.

This ranking draws on 335 duels contributed by 51 players across 5 contenders, updated on 12 October 2026. The tight margins at the top and the sharp fall after third place suggest voters have strong but divided loyalties. How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
