Best Cutlery ranking

Fork leads the Cutlery ranking with 1337 ELO points over 1180 duels, ahead of Teaspoon and Knife.

A decisive 137 ELO points separate Fork from Teaspoon at the top, the sharpest gap in this ranking. Fork dominates with an 82% win rate, suggesting little debate among voters about which utensil matters most. Teaspoon sits in second place despite winning only 20% of its duels, an oddity that points to the volatile nature of head-to-head contests where a few strategic wins can lift a contender above others. Knife, in third with 1173 ELO, posts a steadier 34% win rate across 704 duels. At the bottom, Soup Spoon holds fourth place with 1103 ELO and a 47% win rate, hinting that niche tools struggle to compete with the everyday versatility of a fork.

The ranking draws from 1525 duels contributed by 60 players, who compared all 4 contenders in the Cutlery category. Updated on 11 October 2026, the figures reflect the community's current preferences but remain open to change. Each new vote shifts the balance, and with Fork's lead built on volume as much as dominance, the order could tighten if Teaspoon or Knife attract fresh support. How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
