Best Fruits ranking

Strawberry wins 66% of its duels and tops the Fruits ranking ahead of Pineapple.

Only 2 ELO points separate Strawberry from Pineapple at the top, a razor-thin margin that reflects how evenly matched these two contenders are in the eyes of voters. Yet Strawberry's 66% win rate shows it converts its duels into victories more consistently than its rival. The real divide appears between Raspberry at rank 4 and Mango at rank 5: a 56-point ELO gap marks the sharpest drop in the entire ranking. Cherry holds third place with 1324 ELO points, while the bottom reveals less consensus. Grapefruit languishes at rank 22 with just 1047 ELO points and a 31% win rate, suggesting the community views it as a polarizing choice. Tomato, often debated as a fruit or vegetable, sits at rank 20.

This ranking draws on 12056 duels submitted by 156 players across 22 contenders. The figures reflect the state of the vote as of 10 October 2026. Head over to VAINKEURZ to cast your own vote and shift the balance between Strawberry and Pineapple, or to champion a fruit that deserves a higher spot.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
