Best Hanma family members

Baki leads the Hanma family ranking with 1365 ELO points over 14 duels, ahead of Yujiro and Jack.

Yujiro holds second place with 1263 ELO points, but a gap of 149 points separates him from Jack at rank 3. Despite his reputation as the strongest creature on Earth in the series, Yujiro trails his son in community preference. Baki wins 71% of his duels, a clear margin over the rest of the family. Jack sits at rank 3 with 1114 ELO points and a 47% win rate across 17 duels, placing him in the middle of the pack. At the bottom, Yuuichiro occupies rank 4 with 1068 ELO points and a 29% win rate over 14 duels, suggesting the grandfather's limited screen time in the manga affects his standing among fans. His lower position reflects how less exposure translates to fewer votes of confidence from the community.

This ranking draws from 264 duels cast by 62 players across 4 contenders and was updated on 11 October 2026. The Hanma family may be defined by brutal strength and relentless combat, but the community has spoken on which member earns their favor. Cast your vote and help refine the results.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
