Best Boruto genin

89 ELO points separate Mitsuki from Nara Shikadai at the top of the Boruto ranking, after 9823 duels.

Boruto Uzumaki claims first place with 1473 ELO points and a 76% win rate across 140 duels, but the sharpest divide in the ranking sits just below him. Mitsuki holds second with 1443 points, creating an 89-point chasm before Nara Shikadai at third. The podium reflects a decisive hierarchy, with the series protagonist firmly ahead and his teammates from Team 7 and Team 10 filling out the top positions. Uchiha Sarada, another Team 7 member, lands at fourth with 1325 points despite a respectable 63% win rate. The bottom of the ranking tells a harsher story: Suzumeno Namida, Metal Lee, and Kaminarimon Denki occupy the last three spots, all sitting below 1013 ELO points. Metal Lee and Suzumeno Namida share identical 33% win rates, suggesting these characters struggle to connect with voters in head-to-head matchups.

This ranking draws from 9823 duels cast by 354 players across 12 contenders, updated on 10 October 2026. The vote captures a snapshot of fan preferences within Boruto's new generation, where name recognition and narrative prominence appear to drive results. Whether you favor the protagonist or root for underdogs further down the list, the TopList remains open for your vote. Jump into a duel and push your favorite genin higher in the standings.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
