Demon Slayer upper moons ranking

Akaza wins 72% of its duels and tops the Demon Slayer ranking ahead of Kokushibo.

The top three are tightly bunched, with Kokushibo at 1357 ELO and Doma trailing by just 3 points at 1354. Akaza's dominance is clear: with 72% of duels won across 374 encounters, this Upper Moon has earned the community's favor. But a sharp drop follows the podium. A gap of 183 ELO points separates Doma from Gyutaro in fourth place, the biggest divide in the ranking. This stark difference suggests that fans recognize a clear tier of elite Upper Moons, with Akaza, Kokushibo and Doma standing apart from the rest. Below them, the field is more competitive: Gyutaro holds 1171 ELO while Hantengu sits close behind at 1168. At the bottom, Gyokko languishes in ninth with 1006 ELO and a 25% win rate across 293 duels, indicating that this Upper Moon struggles to win over the community.

The ranking draws on 1601 duels involving 9 contenders, submitted by 94 players. It was last updated on 11 October 2026. How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
