Gyokko (Upper 5)872Akaza (Upper 3) leads the Upper Moon ranking with 1467 ELO points and a 70% win rate over 399 duels, ahead of Kokushibo (Upper 1) and Doma (Upper 2).
Kokushibo (Upper 1) sits at rank 2 with 1348 ELO points, while Doma (Upper 2) claims rank 3 with 1294 ELO. The gap narrows further down: Gyutaro (Upper 6) holds rank 4 at 1240 ELO, but a sharp 157-point chasm separates him from Hantengu (Upper 4) at rank 5. That divide marks the ranking's steepest drop, suggesting voters draw a clear line between the demons they favor and those they dismiss. Akaza's dominance at the top reflects more than raw power: his 70% win rate across 399 duels signals genuine affection from the community, a rare feat in a field crowded with formidable adversaries. The bottom tells its own story: Gyokko (Upper 5) languishes at rank 7 with just 887 ELO and a 20% win rate, the ranking's lowest score by a wide margin. Daki (Upper 6) fares only marginally better at rank 6 with 1074 ELO. The community's verdict is harsh but consistent, revealing which Upper Moons resonate and which fade into the background.

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
