Best Dragon Ball Super Universe 7 characters

Goku wins 73% of his duels and tops the Universe 7 Team member ranking ahead of Vegeta, after 3120 head-to-head matchups.

The Saiyan duo dominates, but not equally. Goku holds a 32-point advantage over Vegeta at 1412 ELO, while a starker divide opens beneath them: 101 points separate Vegeta from Gohan at rank 3. That gulf confirms the gap between the elite warriors and the rest of the roster. Frieza sits just behind Gohan at rank 4 with 1255 points, proving the former villain commands respect among voters. At the bottom, Tien struggles at rank 10 with 942 ELO and a 27% win rate, suggesting the human fighters fail to capture the fanbase the way Saiyans and legacy antagonists do.

The ranking draws from 3120 duels cast by 142 players across 10 contenders, updated on 11 October 2026. The volume reflects sustained engagement with Dragon Ball Super's Tournament of Power lineup, where every matchup forces a choice between fighters who stood together against universal erasure. Cast your own vote and see whether you align with the Goku-Vegeta consensus or champion one of the underdogs clawing for recognition at the lower end of the table.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
