Best Goku transformations

7 ELO points separate Mastered Ultra Instinct from Ultra Instinct Sign at the top of the Dragon Ball ranking, after 7806 duels.

The fight for the top is tight. Mastered Ultra Instinct holds first place with 1324 ELO points, while Ultra Instinct Sign sits at 1317, edging out Super Saiyan by just 8 points. The podium is a surprise: the two Ultra Instinct forms dominate, but Super Saiyan, the most iconic transformation from the Frieza arc, claims third with 1309 ELO. The biggest gap appears between ranks 3 and 4, where 92 ELO points separate Super Saiyan from Super Saiyan 3. At the bottom, Super Saiyan Blue languishes in last place with 1097 ELO and a 30% win rate, while Super Saiyan God and Kaioken struggle just above. The community clearly favors the raw power and visual spectacle of Ultra Instinct over later transformations.

The ranking draws on 7806 duels cast by 344 players across 10 contenders, updated on 12 October 2026. Mastered Ultra Instinct wins 60% of its duels over 565 matchups, showing consistent dominance. How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
