Best Food Wars Polar Star dorm characters

1954 duels later, Sōma Yukihira is still #1 in the Food Wars Polar Star dorm member ranking, with Megumi Tadokoro close behind.

Yet the gap between them is anything but narrow. Sōma Yukihira dominates with 1550 ELO points and an 87% win rate across 30 duels, leaving Megumi Tadokoro trailing by 188 ELO points at 1362. That gulf is the largest in the entire ranking, underlining Sōma's grip on the top spot. Satoshi Isshiki sits just 5 points behind Megumi at 1357, making the race for second place remarkably tight. Lower down, the bottom three reveal a harsher reality: Zenji Marui languishes at rank 10 with 890 ELO and a 13% win rate, while Shōji Satō sits just above him at 935 ELO with a 19% success rate. These figures suggest the community has clear favorites and equally clear disappointments.

This ranking draws on 1954 duels cast by 91 players across 10 contenders, updated on 11 October 2026. Whether you side with Sōma's relentless confidence, Megumi's steady growth, or one of the other Polar Star residents, your vote shapes the outcome. How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
