Best Soma Yukihira dishes

Furikake Rice wins 57% of its duels and tops the Food wars ranking ahead of Fake Roast.

The top is tighter than the figures suggest. Only 5 ELO points separate Furikake Rice from Fake Roast, despite the latter winning 62% of its duels against 57% for the leader. Chaliapin Steak Don sits 57 points behind at rank 3 with 1220 ELO, then the ranking splits: a 106-point gap opens between Chaliapin Steak Don and Gyoza, relegating the latter and Soufflé Omelette to the bottom half. At rank 4, Gyoza scores 1114 ELO with a 38% win rate across 50 duels, while Soufflé Omelette trails by just 7 points at 1107 ELO. The Furikake Rice versus Fake Roast duel defines this ranking, but Chaliapin Steak Don has faced more voters with 54 duels, making its third-place position harder to shift. Fake Roast's 62% win rate stands out as the highest in the ranking, yet it remains stuck at rank 2.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
