Best Jojo villains

Kira leads the Jojo's Bizarre Adventure ranking with 1392 ELO points over 308 duels, ahead of Dio and Valentine.

The top two villains sit remarkably close, with Kira holding just 26 ELO points over Dio. The real divide emerges between ranks 2 and 3, where a stark 154 ELO gap separates Dio from Valentine. This chasm reveals how firmly the community separates its top tier from the rest. Dio commands 68% of his duels despite trailing in second place, while Kira takes 65% with fewer total encounters. Valentine secures third with 52% of his 331 duels, matching Pucci's win rate but edging ahead by 16 ELO points. Diavolo rounds out the top 5 with 1178 points, winning 45% of his 333 duels. At the bottom, Tooru struggles with only 24% of his 242 duels won, suggesting the most recent antagonist fails to resonate with voters as strongly as his predecessors.

The ranking draws from 4250 duels cast by 347 players across 7 contenders, updated 10 October 2026. Every vote shifts the balance between these iconic villains, each representing a different vision of menace and ambition. How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
