Best Jujutsu Kaisen characters

105 ELO points separate Satoru Gojo from Sukuna at the top of the Jujutsu Kaisen ranking, after 53607 duels.

Satoru Gojo dominates with 1581 ELO points and a 77% win rate across 828 duels, leaving the King of Curses trailing at 1497 ELO. The widest gap in the ranking sits between Sukuna and third-placed Maki Zenin, showing a clear division between the supernatural heavyweights and the rest of the field. Protagonist Yuji Itadori lands at rank 4 with 1387 ELO, just 5 points behind Maki despite fewer duels, while Megumi Fushiguro rounds out the top 5 at 1359 ELO. The bottom tells a different story: support characters Kiyotaka Ijichi and Akari Nitta occupy ranks 18 and 19, each winning only 30% of their matchups, proving that fan preference skews heavily toward combat-focused figures. Momo Nishimiya sits just above them at rank 17 with 958 ELO, confirming that auxiliary roles struggle to compete with the series' primary fighters.

This ranking draws from 53607 duels judged by 1127 players across 19 contenders, updated 10 October 2026. The sample captures the series' power hierarchy as much as its emotional appeal, with Gojo's overwhelming lead reflecting both his narrative weight and visual design. The data confirms what the fanbase already knows: technique and spectacle win votes. Head to VAINKEURZ to cast your own duels and shift the standings.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
