Best female Attack on Titan characters

Mikasa wins 69% of her duels and tops the Attack on Titan female characters ranking ahead of Hange.

The 27-point ELO gap between Mikasa and Hange at the top reflects a narrow lead, but the real fracture appears further down the ladder. Sasha secures the final podium spot with 1306 points, while a steep 128-point chasm separates her from Annie in fourth place. This sharp drop suggests the community draws a clear line between fan favorites and the rest of the field. Hange's second-place finish, backed by 211 duels, shows sustained respect for the character's intelligence and leadership throughout the series. Historia holds fifth with 1141 points after 233 duels, while Ymir and Pieck occupy the middle ground. At the bottom, Gabi sits last with 994 ELO points after 185 duels, a polarizing position that likely mirrors the character's divisive story arc and the strong reactions she provokes among fans.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
