Best My Hero Academia quirks

49815 duels later, One For All is still #1 in the My Hero Academia ranking, with Half-Cold Half-Hot close behind at 1446 ELO points.

One For All sits at the top with 1453 ELO points, winning 65% of its 767 duels. Half-Cold Half-Hot trails by just 7 points at 1446 ELO, though it posts a stronger 69% win rate across 793 duels. Creation holds third place at 1441 ELO, but a sharp 55-point drop separates it from Explosion at rank 4. This gap marks the largest divide in the ranking, suggesting voters draw a clear line between the podium Quirks and the rest of Class 1-A. Zero Gravity rounds out the top 5 at 1380 ELO. The bottom tells a different story: Pop Off languishes at rank 20 with 847 ELO and a 20% win rate, while Navel Laser sits just above it at 932 ELO. Sugar Rush occupies rank 18 at 1016 ELO, still far below the top contenders.

This ranking draws from 49815 duels cast by 1067 players across 20 contenders, updated on 10 October 2026. The figures reflect which Quirks voters would actually choose for themselves, not necessarily which ones dominate in combat. The data shows a clear hierarchy: versatile, high-powered abilities cluster at the top, while niche or comedic Quirks settle near the bottom. How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
