Strongest Genin in Naruto

Sasuke Uchiha leads the Naruto ranking with 1411 ELO points over 408 duels, ahead of Naruto Uzumaki and Neji Hyuga.

The rivalry between Sasuke and Naruto defines the top of this ranking. Just 37 ELO points separate them, with Sasuke edging ahead at 1411 to Naruto's 1374. Neji Hyuga claims third at 1343, followed by Sakura Haruno in fourth place. The sharpest division appears between Sakura and Rock Lee: 38 ELO points split them, marking the clearest break in the top 5. At the bottom, the ranking tells a different story. Ino Yamanaka anchors the list at 957 points with a 28 percent win rate, matched in percentage only by Tenten at 993 points. Kiba Inuzuka sits just above them at 1061, but these three contenders struggle to convince voters of their strength compared to the dominant names above.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
