Best One Piece gears

Gear Fifth: Nika leads the One Piece ranking with 1390 ELO points over 199 duels, ahead of Gear Second and Gear Fourth.

The podium reveals a clear hierarchy among Luffy's transformations, but the sharpest divide appears between ranks 3 and 4. Gear Fourth separates itself from Gear Third by 194 ELO points, the widest gap in the ranking. This suggests the community draws a firm line between the higher-tier forms and the earlier techniques that paved the way for them. At the top, Gear Fifth: Nika's dominance reflects its status as the series' latest revelation and the culmination of Luffy's journey toward awakening his Devil Fruit. Gear Second's second-place finish at 1315 ELO speaks to its lasting impact on fans who remember its debut at Enies Lobby, when it redefined what Luffy could achieve in battle. The bottom position of Gear Third, despite its dramatic visual scale and destructive power, shows that spectacle alone doesn't guarantee favor when stacked against transformations tied to pivotal narrative moments and emotional weight.

This ranking emerged from 8862 duels involving 2071 players, who compared all 4 contenders head-to-head. The data was updated on 10 October 2026. How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
