Best one piece pirate warriors 4 characters

101 ELO points separate Luffy from Zoro at the top of the One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 ranking, after 18365 duels.

Luffy dominates with 1513 ELO points and a 71% win rate over 268 duels, establishing a commanding lead that sets him apart from the entire roster. Zoro follows at 1412 ELO with 63% of his 330 duels won, but the 101-point gap confirms the captain's superiority in the eyes of players. Whitebeard claims third place with 1392 ELO, while Shanks and Katakuri round out the top 5. The podium reflects expected reverence for central figures, though Whitebeard's presence ahead of Shanks suggests players value raw power over mystique. At the bottom, Ivankov sits at 1023 ELO with a 40% win rate, just behind Bege at 1027 ELO, while Ichiji holds 50th place at 1069 ELO. The lower ranks reveal a community consensus: support characters and lesser antagonists struggle to compete with the franchise's marquee names.

This ranking draws from 18365 duels submitted by 92 players across 52 contenders, updated on 10 October 2026. The sample size provides a solid foundation for assessing character preferences within Pirate Warriors 4, though the gap between Luffy and the field suggests the vote may be as much about narrative weight as gameplay performance. How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
