Best One Piece straw hats

Luffy wins 70% of his duels and tops the One Piece ranking ahead of Zoro, who trails by 22 ELO points with a 69% win rate.

The biggest gap in the ranking sits between ranks 2 and 3, where 95 ELO points separate Zoro from Sanji. This margin underscores the divide between the crew's top fighters and the rest of the Straw Hats. Luffy's dominance at 1394 ELO reflects his role as captain, while Zoro's strong second place at 1372 ELO confirms his status as the right-hand man. Further down, Nami claims rank 4 with 1208 ELO, and Robin rounds out the top 5 at 1188 ELO. The bottom of the ranking reveals a harder truth for some fan favorites: Usopp languishes at rank 9 with 1052 ELO, and Franky sits last at rank 10 with just 1022 ELO. Jinbei, at rank 8 with 1057 ELO, fares only slightly better. These positions suggest the community reserves its affection for the earliest and most iconic members of the crew.

This ranking draws from 164100 duels cast by 7450 players across all 10 contenders, updated on 12 October 2026. How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
