Best One Piece whitebeard commanders

168 ELO points separate Marco from Ace at the top of the Whitebeard Pirates division commander ranking, after 13571 duels.

Marco dominates with 1661 ELO points and a 90% win rate across 52 duels, establishing clear distance from second-place Ace at 1493 points. The gap between ranks 1 and 2 is the widest in the entire ranking, reflecting Marco's status as the Phoenix in the minds of voters. Vista claims third with 1388 points, demonstrating consistent appeal among fans who remember his swordsmanship during the Marineford War. Izou follows at rank 4 with 1335 points and a 58% win rate over 72 duels, while Jozu rounds out the top 5 at 1268 points with the same 58% win rate but across 78 duels. The close ELO scores in the middle ranks suggest voters see these commanders as roughly equivalent in their contributions to Whitebeard's crew. At the opposite end, Speed Jil struggles at rank 14 with 861 ELO points and just a 19% win rate across 52 duels, trailing even Haruta and Kingdew. The bottom positions reveal which commanders left the faintest impression during their limited screen time.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
