Strongest One Piece vice-captains

7089 duels later, Silvers Rayleigh is still #1 in the One Piece Emperor's right-hand ranking, with Ben Beckman close behind.

Rayleigh dominates this ranking with a crushing lead: 250 ELO points separate him from Ben Beckman in second place. The Dark King's 1545 ELO and 85% win rate reflect the One Piece community's respect for the former Roger Pirates first mate, whose legendary status appears untouchable. Marco, the Phoenix, claims third with 1226 points, followed by Charlotte Katakuri at 1153. The gap between Rayleigh and the rest of the field reveals how voters view the hierarchy of second-in-commands: no active Emperor's right-hand can match the retired legend. King lands in fifth place with 1035 ELO, while Shiryu occupies the bottom spot at 946 points. The Blackbeard Pirates representative struggles to convince the community despite his crew's rising threat level, suggesting voters prioritize demonstrated feats over potential danger.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
