Best Eevee evolutions

75 ELO points separate Sylveon from Umbreon at the top of the Pokémon ranking, after 1689 duels.

Sylveon holds the top spot with 1336 ELO points, but the 75-point gap to second-placed Umbreon marks the sharpest divide in the ranking. Leafeon follows closely at rank 3 with 1257 points, just 4 behind Umbreon. The podium showcases three different evolutionary types, suggesting a spread of preferences across the Eevee family. Espeon lands at rank 4 with 1234 points, while Glaceon rounds out the top 5 at 1226. The middle of the pack shows tight competition, with several evolutions clustered within a narrow ELO range. At the bottom, Flareon sits at rank 9 with 1049 ELO, trailing Sylveon by 287 points. Eevee itself ranks 8th with 1123 points, placing the original form well behind its evolved counterparts in this community vote. The bottom positions suggest that certain evolutions resonate less strongly with voters, creating a clear hierarchy within the family.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
