Best anime crunchyroll awards 2022

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc wins 66% of its duels and tops the Anime Awards Crunchyroll 2022 ranking ahead of Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2.

The podium is tightly contested: only 6 ELO points separate Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc from Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2, placing them at 1323 and 1317 ELO points respectively after 109 and 118 duels. Cyberpunk Edgerunners holds third place at 1272 ELO points, followed by SPY x FAMILY at 1185. The sharpest division appears between ranks 4 and 5, where 106 ELO points separate SPY x FAMILY from Ranking of Kings (Cour 2). This gap reveals a clear preference among voters for the top four contenders. At the bottom, Lycoris Recoil sits at 1024 ELO points with a 38% win rate, while Ranking of Kings (Cour 2) struggles at 33%, suggesting these entries failed to capture the same enthusiasm as the frontrunners.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
