Best Trotro characters

766 duels later, Trotro is still #1 in the Trotro character ranking, with Nounours the teddy bear close behind at 1271 ELO points.

The titular character dominates with 1424 ELO points and a 79% win rate across 19 duels, but the gap between Trotro and his stuffed companion tells a surprising story. At 153 ELO points, this is the sharpest divide in the entire ranking, suggesting that while Trotro holds the top spot decisively, the race among the supporting cast remains tight. Nounours the teddy bear edges out Tutu the turtle by just 68 points, and from rank 3 downward the differences narrow further. Boubou and Zaza are separated by a mere 3 points, locked in a virtual tie at 1187 and 1184. At the bottom, Nana sits at 1124 ELO with a 39% win rate, trailing Papa by 19 points. The compressed middle and lower reaches of this ranking reflect a community where affection spreads widely across the cast, even as the star character pulls ahead.

This ranking draws on 766 duels contributed by 44 players, who have weighed in on all 9 contenders from the series. The data was updated on 12 October 2026. If you have a favorite Trotro character who deserves a higher spot, or if you want to defend the current podium, cast your votes in fresh duels and help shape the list.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
