Best Social Media platforms

3664 duels later, YouTube is still #1 in the Social Media ranking, with TikTok close behind at 1334 ELO points.

YouTube dominates with 1418 ELO points and a 71% win rate across 175 duels, while an 84-point gap separates it from TikTok in second place. That margin reflects a clear preference for long-form video content over the short bursts TikTok offers. Twitch edges out Instagram by just 2 ELO points for third, despite Instagram posting a higher 61% win rate over 176 duels. Discord rounds out the top 5 at 1267 ELO points, showing the platform's grip on communities built around voice and text chat. At the other end, LinkedIn languishes in last place with 946 ELO points and a 22% win rate across 134 duels, suggesting the VAINKEURZ community sees professional networking as the least time-consuming platform. Reddit sits just above it at rank 11 with 1057 ELO points, while Facebook occupies 10th place at 1091 ELO points, a steep fall for what was once the dominant social network.

This ranking draws from 3664 duels cast by 128 players across 12 contenders, updated on 10 October 2026. How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
