Best Streaming platforms

3495 duels later, Netflix is still #1 in the Streaming platform ranking, with Disney+ close behind.

Netflix edges out Disney+ by 71 ELO points at the top, the sharpest gap in the entire ranking. The podium holds no surprises: Netflix dominates with 1403 ELO points and wins 72% of its duels across 88 head-to-head matchups, while Disney+ and Prime Video follow at 1332 and 1293 points respectively. HBO Max takes fourth place with 1229 points and a 56% win rate over 94 duels, while Apple TV+ rounds out the top 5 at 1200 points. The bottom of the ranking reveals voter preferences tilting toward mainstream platforms. Salto lands at #12 with 1008 points and a 32% win rate across 78 duels. Wakanim sits just above at #11 with 1065 points and wins only 31% of its 88 duels. OCS claims #10 with 1122 points. Their low standings suggest the community favors globally recognized services over regional or specialized offerings, though every contender has earned its place through direct voter comparisons.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
