Most hated Arcane characters

70 ELO points separate Maddie from Singed at the top of the most hated Arcane character ranking, after 487 duels.

Maddie dominates with 1313 ELO points and wins 71% of her duels, establishing a commanding lead over the rest of the field. The 70-point gap between her and second-place Singed marks the sharpest divide in the ranking, suggesting the community reserves a special intensity of dislike for her. Singed and Ambessa follow in close succession at 1243 and 1232 ELO respectively, their near-identical scores reflecting more contested opinions. At the bottom, Silco sits at 1068 ELO with a 33% win rate across 161 duels, indicating he provokes less visceral hatred than the top contenders despite his antagonist role in the series. Jayce and Sevika occupy the middle ground, their moderate ELO scores suggesting they inspire mixed reactions rather than the unanimous loathing directed at Maddie.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
