8 ELO points separate Game of Thrones from The Vampire Diaries at the top of the TV Shows ranking, after 11951 duels.

The top three positions remain tightly contested, with just 11 points spanning the podium. Breaking Bad sits third with 1334 ELO points, trailing The Vampire Diaries by a mere 3 points. Yet the sharpest divide emerges between ranks 4 and 5, where Stranger Things holds a 29-point advantage over The Walking Dead—the widest gap in the entire ranking. Game of Thrones secures its crown with a 64% win rate across 1028 duels, the strongest performance among the top contenders. At the bottom, Elite languishes with 1058 ELO points and a 34% win rate, suggesting the community has little affection for certain recent additions to the tracking list. Riverdale and 13 Reasons Why share the 18th and 19th positions, both stuck at 1077 points.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
