Best Hazbin Hotel overlords

997 duels later, Alastor remains #1 in the Hazbin Hotel overlord ranking, with Husk at 1354 ELO points in second place.

Alastor holds the top position with 1391 ELO points, building a 37-point lead over Husk in second place. Velvette secures third at 1323 points, followed by Niffty at 1313 and Rosie at 1307. While Alastor wins 68% of his duels, the podium shows how voters weigh charisma and menace differently: Husk, with a 57% win rate, commands steady support despite his lower score. The tightest competition unfolds in the top 5, where just 84 points separate first from fifth. At the bottom, Hatchet languishes at 952 ELO points with a 22% win rate, barely edging out Prick at 990 points. The basement reveals which overlords fail to resonate: voters decisively reject Maestro, Prick and Hatchet, suggesting the community favors characters with deeper screen time or sharper narrative hooks.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
