Best TOP BOY characters

Jamie leads the TOP BOY ranking with 1501 ELO points over 35 duels, ahead of Sully and Dushane.

Jamie dominates with a 176-point margin over Sully, a gap that reflects the character's strong appeal to the community. This separation at the top is the widest in the ranking, setting Jamie apart from the rest of the cast. Sully edges out Dushane by just 11 points, making the battle for second place tight. Kit holds fourth with 1250 ELO points after 62 duels, while Jaq rounds out the top 5 at 1216 points with 52% of duels won. The characters at the bottom tell a different story. Haze sits last with 959 ELO points and wins only 19% of duels, suggesting the character struggles to connect with voters. Modie and Ats occupy the ranks just above, both with similar metrics that place them outside the community's favorites.

This ranking draws from 2064 duels and 88 players who weighed in on their favorite Top Boy season 1 characters across 11 contenders. The data was updated on 11 October 2026. If you have a favorite from the show's first season, cast your vote and shift the standings. Each duel refines the hierarchy and brings the ranking closer to the community's true preferences.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
