Best sons of Ragnar Lothbrok

Bjorn wins 79% of its duels and tops the Vikings ranking ahead of Ivar, with 1457 ELO points after 43 duels.

The 159 ELO points separating Bjorn from Ivar confirm the eldest son's grip on the podium, while Ubbe follows 56 points behind at rank 3 with 1242 ELO. The real fracture appears lower: Hvitserk stands at rank 4, then a 185-point chasm opens before Sigurd, whose 13% win rate leaves him stranded at the bottom. That gap between ranks 4 and 5 is the sharpest in the ranking, isolating Sigurd from the pack. Bjorn's dominance reflects the character's battlefield presence and leadership arc, yet Ivar's 1298 ELO and 55% win rate show he retains a solid fanbase despite his ruthlessness. Ubbe occupies the middle ground, neither beloved nor rejected, while Hvitserk's 1094 ELO suggests the community sees him as secondary. Sigurd's collapse, with only 909 ELO, mirrors his shorter screen time and early exit from the saga.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
