Best Apex Legends weapons

Hemlock leads the Apex Legends ranking with 1347 ELO points over 78 duels, ahead of R-301 and Flatline.

The top of the ranking is fiercely contested, with just 3 ELO points separating Hemlock from R-301. Flatline sits in third place with 1325 points, trailing the leader by 22 points. The sharpest divide appears between ranks 4 and 5, where R-99 edges ahead of Volt by 20 ELO points, suggesting these weapons occupy different tiers in player preference. At the bottom, the community has spoken clearly: P2020 languishes at rank 26 with 1055 ELO points and a 34% win rate, making it the least favored gun in the arsenal. L-Star EMG and Charge Rifle occupy the two spots just above, both with 44% win rates but struggling to win over players when matched against the field.

This ranking draws on 5026 duels cast by 59 players across 26 contenders, updated on 12 October 2026. The tight margins at the top and the clear dropoffs throughout the list reflect genuine divisions in how players evaluate their loadout choices. Whether you agree that Hemlock deserves the crown or believe another weapon was robbed, your vote shapes the outcome. How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
