Best ark survival evolved dlc maps

603 duels later, Fjordur remains #1 in the ARK: Survival Evolved DLC map ranking with 1306 ELO points, ahead of Extinction and Genesis.

Fjordur dominates with a 75-point gap over Extinction, a margin that reflects the community's clear preference for Norse-inspired landscapes over post-apocalyptic ruins. The top five maps cluster within a relatively tight range, yet Fjordur stands apart with a 66% win rate across 47 duels. Genesis and Extinction sit nearly level at 1228 and 1231 points respectively, while Ragnarok at 1226 points and Aberration at 1220 points round out the top tier. The middle ranks see tighter competition, but the bottom tells a different story: Crystal Isles languishes at 1083 ELO with just 33% of its duels won, suggesting players favor environmental challenge and atmospheric depth over pure visual appeal. Scorched Earth sits just above at 1123 points, while The Center holds 1157 points in eighth place.

The ranking draws from 603 duels contested by 29 players across 10 contenders, updated 12 October 2026. Whether you lean toward Fjordur's mythic valleys or defend the harsh deserts of lower-ranked maps, your vote shapes the hierarchy. How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
