Best CS:GO pistols

62 ELO points separate Desert Eagle from P250 at the top of the CS:GO pistol ranking, after 708 duels.

Desert Eagle stands alone with 1302 ELO and a 62% win rate across 29 duels, leaving P250 far behind at 1240 ELO. The gap shrinks from second to third place: only 9 points divide P250 from Five-SeveN, while R8 Revolver trails by just 3 points at rank 4 with 1228 ELO. Dual Berettas rounds out the top 5 with 1193 ELO, still 35 points clear of the next contender. At the bottom, the starter pistols struggle to gain traction. USP-S manages just 41% of its duels over 34 matches, landing at rank 8 with 1160 ELO. P2000 sits one spot lower at 1155 ELO, and CZ75-Auto occupies last place with 1104 ELO and a 38% win rate across 24 duels. The contrast between the podium and the bottom five suggests that CS:GO players favor raw stopping power and versatility over the default loadout options that populate the lower ranks.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
