Best Five Nights at Freddy's 3 animatronics

1223 duels later, Springtrap is still #1 in the Five Nights at Freddy's 3 ranking, with Phantom Foxy close behind.

Springtrap dominates the podium with 1405 ELO points, opening a commanding 109-point gap over Phantom Foxy in second place. That substantial margin reflects the character's unique status as the game's only true animatronic antagonist, while the Phantom variants cluster more tightly below. Phantom Foxy sits at 1296 ELO with a 52% win rate across 111 duels, followed by Phantom Puppet at 1220 ELO. Phantom Freddy matches that score despite a lower 44% win rate, and Phantom Mangle rounds out the top 5 at 1184 ELO. The ranking reveals sharp community preferences: Springtrap's 66% win rate demonstrates near-universal favor, while the bottom tier paints a contrasting picture. Phantom Chica holds sixth place at 1113 ELO, but Phantom Balloon Boy languishes at the bottom with just 961 ELO and a 24% win rate across 84 duels, suggesting players find little to admire in the spectral version of an already polarizing character.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
