Best Genshin Impact pyro characters

Arlecchino leads the Genshin Impact pyro character ranking with 1368 ELO points over 221 duels, ahead of Hu Tao and Yoimiya.

The top of the ranking reveals a tight race between Arlecchino and Hu Tao, separated by just 11 ELO points. The sharpest drop comes between ranks 2 and 3, where Hu Tao holds a commanding 68 ELO point advantage over Yoimiya. Arlecchino's 70% win rate demonstrates strong community preference, while Hu Tao follows with a solid 63% across 226 duels. The bottom of the ranking tells a different story: Xinyan languishes at 1037 ELO with a 36% win rate, and Amber sits just above her at 1048 ELO, suggesting these characters struggle to win favor among players. The spread between the top and bottom reveals clear hierarchies in how the community values different pyro options.

This ranking draws from 2031 duels submitted by 47 players across all 15 pyro characters in the game. The figures reflect the state of the vote as of 12 October 2026. VAINKEURZ builds rankings through head-to-head matchups where players pick their preference between two contenders at a time. Each choice shifts the ELO scores until patterns emerge. If you have a favorite pyro character, cast your vote to influence the next update.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
