Best Ruined King characters

349 duels later, Illaoi is still #1 in the Ruined King: A League of Legends Story playable characters ranking, with Miss Fortune close behind.

Illaoi dominates with 1271 ELO points and a 71% win rate across 17 duels, edging out Miss Fortune by 18 points. Miss Fortune holds second place at 1253 ELO with a 50% win rate over 14 duels, while Ahri claims third at 1240 ELO with a 57% win rate. Pyke follows at 1230 ELO, also with a 50% win rate. The sharpest divide in the ranking falls between Pyke and Yasuo: 37 ELO points separate fourth from fifth, the largest gap across the entire podium and suggesting a clear break between the community's preferred champions and those with more selective appeal. Yasuo sits at 1193 ELO after 16 duels. At the bottom, Braum struggles at 1038 ELO with just a 9% win rate across 11 duels, indicating the support champion fails to capture voter enthusiasm despite his role in the party.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
