Best Marvel Rivals characters

32 ELO points separate Iron Man from Magneto at the top of the Marvel Rivals ranking, after 2976 duels.

Iron Man commands the roster with 1310 ELO points and a 58% win rate across 199 duels, establishing a decisive 32-point margin over Magneto in second place. Doctor Strange and Wolverine share third with identical 1270 ELO scores, though Strange edges ahead with a 59% win rate. Rocket Raccoon rounds out the top 5 at 1264 points. The podium reflects the community's preference for versatile damage dealers and control specialists, with Iron Man's dominance suggesting players value his mobility and firepower. At the opposite end, support characters struggle: Luna Snow languishes at rank 36 with 1037 ELO points and a 41% win rate, while Cloak and Dagger sit just above at 1088 points. The bottom tier reveals a player base that gravitates toward aggressive, self-sufficient heroes rather than team-oriented healers.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
