Best My Hero Ultra Rumble characters

40 ELO points separate Shoto Todoroki from Eijiro Kirishima at the top of the My Hero Ultra Rumble ranking, after 3753 duels.

Izuku Midoriya claims the top spot with 1388 ELO points and a 65% win rate across 348 duels, but the sharpest divide appears one step below. Shoto Todoroki holds second place at 1362 ELO, creating a 40-point gap over Eijiro Kirishima in third. That margin exceeds the distance between Kirishima and fourth-ranked Katsuki Bakugo, who trails at 1310 ELO despite a strong 62% win rate. Ochaco Uraraka rounds out the top 5 with 1276 ELO points, though her 54% win rate reflects a more contested standing. The bottom of the ranking reveals less enthusiasm for certain characters: Mount Lady sits at 18th with 1035 ELO, while Ibara Shiozaki and Cementoss occupy the 17th and 16th positions respectively, each struggling to gain traction despite hundreds of duels.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
