Best full art pokémon tcg pocket cards

3381 duels later, Gyarados remains #1 in the Pokémon TCGP ★ full art card beauty ranking, with Alakazam and Meowth trailing behind.

Gyarados dominates the top spot with 1346 ELO points, establishing a 32-point gap over second-placed Alakazam at 1314. Meowth secures third with 1312 points, while Nidoqueen and Charmander round out the top 5. The tight clustering at the top suggests fierce competition for visual appeal among these iconic designs. Charmander's presence at rank 5 with 1293 ELO shows that nostalgic starter Pokémon hold significant sway with collectors. At the opposite end, Ditto languishes at rank 24 with just 996 ELO points and a 33% win rate, indicating the community finds its simple, blob-like design less compelling in full art form. Diglett and Slowpoke fare only marginally better at ranks 23 and 22, revealing that understated or comical Pokémon struggle to compete aesthetically with the fierce and detailed artwork of top contenders.

This ranking draws from 3381 duels submitted by 45 players across 24 contenders, last updated on 11 October 2026. The spread from Gyarados at the top to Ditto at the bottom spans 350 ELO points, reflecting distinct tiers of visual preference within the Pokémon TCGP full art collection. How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
