Best shiny Eevee evolutions

Sylveon wins 67% of its duels and tops the Pokémon ranking ahead of Umbreon.

Umbreon sits firmly in second place with 1327 ELO points, but a 96-point gap separates it from Vaporeon in third. This margin marks the sharpest divide in the ranking and cements the top two as clear favorites among shiny Eevee evolutions. Sylveon's lead extends to 57 ELO points over Umbreon, reflecting strong preference for its pale blue shiny design. Glaceon and Leafeon occupy the middle ground at 1218 and 1203 ELO points respectively, earning 49% and 47% win rates across 146 and 149 duels. The bottom of the ranking tells a different story: Espeon languishes in ninth place with just 993 ELO points and a 31% win rate across 121 duels, suggesting the psychic type's green shiny form fails to capture voter enthusiasm. Jolteon fares only slightly better at 1084 ELO points with a 40% win rate.

This ranking draws from 591 duels recorded by 31 players choosing between 9 contenders, last updated on 12 October 2026. Whether you favor the dark elegance of Umbreon's blue rings or another evolution entirely, the vote remains open. Head to VAINKEURZ to cast your own duels and influence the standings.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
