Best Poppy Playtime characters

The Prototype leads the Poppy Playtime Chapter 5 character ranking with 1334 ELO points over 113 duels, ahead of Huggy Wuggy and Lily Lovebraids.

The top of the ranking shows a tight race: just 4 ELO points separate The Prototype from Huggy Wuggy at rank 2, while Lily Lovebraids trails by 72 points at rank 3. Kissy Missy holds rank 4 with 1221 points, but the sharpest drop in the entire ranking appears immediately below: a 93-point gap separates Kissy Missy from Chum Chompkins at rank 5. That divide marks the split between the ranking's upper tier and its lower half. At the bottom, Poppy sits at rank 7 with 1110 ELO points, a surprising position for the franchise's namesake character. Giblet closes the ranking at rank 8 with 1098 points after 118 duels, the highest duel count among all contenders.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
