Best Rayman Origins characters

Raybox leads the Rayman Origins playable character ranking with 1347 ELO points over 26 duels, ahead of Rayman and Flaming Teensy.

A 48-point gap separates Raybox from Rayman himself at the top, the largest margin in the ranking. The eponymous hero sits at rank 2 with 1299 ELO points, while Flaming Teensy trails just behind at rank 3 with 1286 points. Raymesis holds rank 4 with 1266 points, and Grand Minimus rounds out the top 5 at 1249 points. The dominance of Raybox over the franchise's mascot marks an unexpected preference among players, suggesting that novelty or playstyle may outweigh brand recognition when it comes to character selection.

At the bottom, Globette Jr. sits at rank 16 with 1080 ELO points and a 32% win rate, edging out Red Globox by just 4 points. Red Globox, despite carrying the Globox name, manages only 27% of its duels. Teensy Queen holds rank 14 with 1104 points, indicating that even characters tied to the game's lore struggle to match the appeal of the top contenders. The spread from top to bottom reflects distinct community preferences rather than a tight field of equally favored characters.

This ranking draws from 1629 duels submitted by 42 players across 16 contenders, updated on 12 October 2026. Head to the Rayman Origins TopList and cast your vote to shape the next update.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
