Best botw divine beasts

Vah Naboris leads the Zelda ranking with 1303 ELO points over 48 duels, ahead of Vah Medoh and Vah Rudania.

The Camel Divine Beast establishes clear dominance at the summit, separating itself from Vah Medoh by 79 ELO points. That gap marks the sharpest divide in the entire ranking, suggesting the community draws a firm line between its favorite and the rest. Vah Medoh, the Rito fortress hovering above Tabantha, claims second with 1224 points, while Vah Rudania holds third at 1173. The placement of Vah Ruta at the bottom, with just 1100 ELO and a 33% win rate, raises questions about the elephant's reception despite being many players' first Divine Beast encounter. Perhaps familiarity breeds contempt, or the water-based puzzles failed to leave a lasting impression.

This ranking emerges from 335 duels cast by 71 players across all 4 Divine Beasts, updated on 11 October 2026. The sample captures a decisive community stance: Vah Naboris wins 65% of its matchups, a commanding performance that suggests the Gerudo thunder beast resonates with voters beyond mere difficulty or design. Whether you align with the consensus or champion the underdog, your vote shapes the outcome. Head to VAINKEURZ to weigh in on your own favorite and see how the ranking shifts with each new duel.

How this ranking is computed

Every duel won lifts a contender and every loss drops them, by an amount that depends on the opponent's strength: beating the leader is worth more than beating the last. It is an ELO, the same principle as in chess. Duels are not drawn at random — an adaptive entropy sort puts the least predictable match-ups first, which settles the ranking far faster than a full round robin. A worldwide ranking is only published past 30 completed plays. Known limit: a contender who has faced few opponents keeps an approximate score, and the bottom of the table moves more than the podium.
